Mortimer Medical PracticeEscape to the country: Are you looking to work in a beautiful rural location? Do you want to be part of a well organised, supportive, dispensing practice covering 200 square miles of the Herefordshire, Shropshire and Welsh borders? If so you may be the person for us.Due to retirement, we are looking for one or two salaried GPs (4 to 8 sessions) to join us from 1st July 2024, however we can be flexible for the right person.We Offer:
- BMA model contract including leave and CPD entitlement
- Salary £10,500 to £12,500 per session, per annum, depending on experience and any additional skills or responsibilities
- A growing list, caring for approximately 8800 patients.
- Three well equipped premises, including a recent purpose built branch surgery. Our main site is five miles north of the market town of Leominster. Our two branch surgeries are near to Ludlow and Craven Arms.
- Currently 4 GP Partners (5 from May 2024), 1 salaried GP and 1 retainer GP. A full complement of other healthcare professionals, including a pharmacist, a visiting paramedic, Physician Associate and GP registrars.
- Strong clinical and administrative support team
- Over 90% dispensing (dispensaries on all three sites)
- A GP training practice & Research Ready Accredited
- Part of North and West Herefordshire PCN
- CQC inspected and rated good
- Currently not participating in any out of hours or extended hours initiatives
- Dedicated to maintaining a good work/life balance
