Workshop Controller – £35,000 to £40,000 per annum – Career Progression Opportunity!Are you an experienced HGV Technician looking to take the next step in your career and move off the tools? We’re looking for a proactive and hands-on Workshop Controller to join our team and take on a vital leadership role in our busy workshop.About the Role:As the Workshop Controller, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day running of the workshop, ensuring that all repair and maintenance work is completed efficiently, safely, and to a high standard. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled technician ready to transition into a supervisory role while still staying close to the technical side of the business.Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the workflow in the workshop and allocate jobs to technicians effectively
  • Monitor job progress and ensure timely completion of repairs and servicing
  • Provide technical support and guidance to the workshop team when needed
  • Liaise with service advisors and other departments to ensure excellent customer service
  • Uphold health and safety standards and workshop compliance at all times
What We’re Looking For:
  • Previous experience as a HGV Technician is essential
  • Desire to move into a supervisory or controller position
  • Strong understanding of commercial vehicle maintenance and repair
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • A proactive and team-oriented approach
