A rapidly growing e-commerce platform that has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality products to customers globally, is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to strengthen their security posture while supporting their continued expansion across international markets.This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced DevSecOps Engineer to embed security practices within a dynamic, customer-centric technology environment. You'll be instrumental in securing cloud infrastructure, implementing security-by-design principles, and ensuring robust protection across their platform that serves a diverse customer base. Working with a collaborative engineering team, you'll help maintain the balance between rapid innovation and enterprise-grade security.The DevSecOps Engineer's responsibilities:
  • Designing and implementing security controls across large-scale, multi-user AWS environments serving global customers.
  • Managing and securing containerized applications using Kubernetes, EKS, and ECS in production environments.
  • Building and maintaining Infrastructure as Code using Terraform while embedding security best practices.
  • Conducting threat modelling exercises to proactively identify and mitigate security risks across the platform.
  • Collaborating with development teams to integrate security seamlessly into CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
  • Monitoring, detecting, and responding to security events across cloud infrastructure and applications.
  • Driving security awareness and best practices across engineering teams through training and guidance.
The ideal DevSecOps Engineer will have experience with the following:
  • Strong background as a Platform Engineer or Software Engineer with deep understanding of secure development practices.
  • Extensive experience with AWS services, particularly in large, multi-user environments with complex architectures.
  • Hands-on expertise with S3, serverless technologies, and cloud-native security implementations.
  • Proficiency with container orchestration platforms including Kubernetes, EKS, and ECS.
  • Advanced Terraform skills for secure infrastructure provisioning and management.
  • Experience with threat modelling methodologies and security risk assessment.
  • Strong understanding of DevOps practices with security integration experience.
