Salary: Competitive, Dependent on ExperienceProtocol Education is working in collaboration with a well-regarded and inclusive primary school in Redbridge, to recruit a dedicated Learning Support Assistant for a September 2025 start. This is a valuable opportunity for an individual who is committed to supporting children with additional needs and contributing to their academic and personal development.Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one or small group support to pupils in Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2
- Assist the class teacher in delivering differentiated and inclusive lessons
- Support the learning and emotional needs of pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- Contribute to classroom preparation, organisation, and effective learning environments
- Promote positive behaviour and encourage pupil engagement and participation
- Prior experience working with primary-aged children, ideally in SEN or mainstream settings
- A calm, supportive, and proactive approach to working with children
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply through Protocol Education)
