This is a fantastic opportunity to lead on quality and compliance across a portfolio of high-standard residential and nursing homes in Scotland and England.With six established care homes and further growth planned, this provider is committed to delivering exceptional, person-centred care in welcoming, homely settings where residents can live fulfilling lives.About The RoleAs Head of Quality, you’ll be responsible for supporting and enhancing the delivery of care quality and regulatory compliance across all services. Working closely with the Owners and Regional Director, you'll provide hands-on support to care home teams, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring services meet all relevant standards.Responsible for the continuing development and promotion of a proactive quality assurance framework across the companyManage and coordinate clinical audits within the servicesMaintain awareness of policy and recommendations from the Department of Health, NICE, CQC, CI and other national and local advisorsBe responsible for setting up all quality matters for any new servicesPlan, develop and evaluate methods and processes for gathering, analysing, interpreting and presenting a Performance and Quality Improvement PlanEnsure the production of regular reports and information to the senior management team, identifying potential risks and any actions that may need to be takenMonitor regulator quality ratings and assessments. Review and direct actions as necessary to continually improve ratingsImplement plans to tackle underperformanceMaintain evidence, reports and standards to achieve a minimum CQC rating of "Good" and CI rating of "5"Reviewing existing procedures to ensure they meet the current relevant guidelinesWhat’s On OfferHighly competitive salary of up to £85,000 (dependent on experience)33 days' annual leave (including Bank Holidays)Paid travel and accommodation for overnight stays where requiredFree DBS / DS checkOngoing professional development and trainingComprehensive and supportive inductionCompany pension schemeAbout YouWe’re looking for a proactive and experienced quality professional with a strong understanding of elderly care regulation and service delivery.Essential Requirements:Minimum 3 years' experience in a quality role within an elderly care setting as a Quality Lead, Quality Manager, Head of Quality, or Quality DirectorIn-depth knowledge of CQC and CI regulationsExperience with care planning and quality systemsExperience with audit processes, safeguarding, and risk managementAbility to write and embed policies and proceduresExperience of LSI and safeguardingFamiliar with risk managementUK driving license, access to a vehicle, and willingness to travel across Scotland and England (including overnight stays)Desirable:Registered Nurse with an active NMC PINPrevious registered care home management experience within a nursing homeExperience using Nourish and Radar care management systemsInterested?If you're committed to delivering excellence in elderly care and want to support high-performing services through effective quality leadership, we’d love to hear from you.All enquiries and applications will be treated in the strictest confidence.
