- Lead the development and execution of Origin’s brand strategy, ensuring alignment with our mission, values, and business goals.
- Define and protect the brand’s market positioning and ensure its relevance as we grow in existing and new markets.
- Create and maintain a brand framework covering narrative, tone of voice, and value proposition.
- Identify opportunities for brand growth, including new formats, categories, channels, and geographic markets.
- Lead annual and seasonal brand planning, aligning key brand moments with commercial priorities.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing brand team, creating an environment that inspires creativity, collaboration, and accountability.
- Oversee the Creative Lead (once appointed) and provide creative and art direction to support their work, including designers, artworkers, and content creators.
- Build a culture that connects strategic thinking with commercial awareness, ensuring the team understands the “why” behind every brand initiative.
- Represent the Brand function to the SLT and act as the main point of connection between brand, marketing, and commercial teams.
- Partner with channel marketing, product, retail, events and e-commerce teams to ensure the brand strategy is embedded in campaigns, launches, and customer experiences.
- Work closely with the CEO, (Fractional) Marketing Director, and Director of Growth on go-to-market strategies and key trading moments.
- Build and manage strategic partnerships that enhance brand awareness and customer engagement.
- Maintain and update brand guidelines, ensuring consistent application across all channels and partners.
- Oversee creative guidelines, ensuring all visual and content outputs meet Origin’s design, quality, and storytelling standards before release.
- Monitor brand performance through agreed KPIs, using insights to refine strategy and investment decisions.
- Manage the brand budget and ensure resources are allocated effectively to deliver maximum impact.
- Proven experience leading brand strategy for a premium lifestyle or consumer brand.
- Demonstrated success in building brand equity while delivering measurable business results.
- Experience leading and developing teams, fostering high performance and shared purpose.
- Proven ability to provide creative and art direction, ensuring multi-channel outputs meet brand and creative standards.
- Experience developing and enforcing brand and creative guidelines across channels, partners, and internal teams.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance long-term brand building and short-term growth goals.
- Skilled in cross-functional collaboration, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
