Nursing Associate - Join Our Supportive North Manchester GP Practice!Are you a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursing Associate looking for a rewarding opportunity in a busy and friendly primary care setting?Our well-established GP practice in North Manchester, serving approximately 14,000 patients, is seeking a motivated Nursing Associate to join our collaborative team. We pride ourselves on providing high-quality patient care and fostering a supportive environment for our staff.Main duties of the jobThe Role:As a Nursing Associate, you will play a vital role in delivering patient-centered care under the supervision of our experienced nursing team. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Performing routine health checks and assessments.
  • Administering vaccinations and medications as per protocol.
Managing long-term conditions under the direction of the nursing team. * Taking blood samples and other clinical observations.Educating patients on health promotion and self-management.Assisting in the sexual health clinic, and performing smears once trained * Contributing to the smooth running of clinics and supporting the wider practice team.
