Salary - £25k-£30k (dependent on experience)Here at Serco, we are seeking an ambitious and enthusiastic Junior Graphic Designer who will support the Group Head of Brand & Web to create and implement brand collateral both online and offline while keeping within the parameters of the corporate brand guidelines. You will promote best practices and help ensure consistency of the Serco brand across the business.In this role, you will develop a range of graphic design, artwork and digital media (video and animation) and production assets to proactively support the business. Importantly reducing the reliance of third-party agencies. The role is part of the wider Group Chief Growth & Strategy Officers team and will actively engage, influence and support colleagues across the group globally.As part of this you'll:· Design and artwork of brochures, print, posters, digital displays, flyers, presentations and other publications based on business requirements.· Ensuring that the asset / collateral adheres to corporate brand guidelines, whether produced in-house or by third party agencies.· Understanding and interpreting briefs to design/create exceptional online and offline collateral and video from concept through to final production and be comfortable with on and offline environments.· To support the digital and social media team with info graphics and visuals for website, intranet and social media.· Translate complex technical concepts/diagrams into visually appealing and easily digestible graphics.· Support production of training material to improve compliance/educate with brand guidelines.· Work collaboratively within the wider Serco Growth and Strategy team to produce high-quality content and support as required including attendance at external events.· Collaborate and work with the existing team on multiple projects and different disciplines throughout the working week.What you'll need to do the role:· Experience of industry-standard design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and knowledge of emerging design tools.· Competent with Adobe Premier Pro and Adobe After Effects would be advantageous or similar editing software.· Innovative and Creative thinker - Must have strong creative skills and understanding of brand guidelines.· Experience or an interest in filming video content and storyboarding.· Competent user of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint. It is advantageous to have experience of creating templates for O365.· Self-manage time effectively, managing projects from conception to completion.· Proven experience in graphic design, digital media, visual communications or another closely related field essential.· Experience in an agency or corporate setting.· A portfolio or examples of previous work· A good understanding of UX/UIWhy Serco:Meaningful and vital work: In this position, your work is vital to the business, in terms of decisions and growth.
