Your responsibilities will include:Classroom Support: Assisting mathematics teachers in delivering engaging and interactive lessons, providing one-to-one support to students who may require additional help, and ensuring that all pupils are able to access the curriculum effectively.Small Group Intervention: Leading small group intervention sessions to support students who are struggling with specific mathematical concepts or topics, providing targeted assistance and reinforcement of key skills.Resource Creation: Collaborating with teachers to create and prepare teaching resources, including worksheets, activities, and visual aids, to enhance the learning experience and cater to the diverse needs of students.Assessment and Feedback: Supporting teachers in assessing student progress and achievement, marking and providing feedback on classwork and homework assignments, and tracking student performance over time.Extra-Curricular Activities: Getting involved in extracurricular mathematics activities and initiatives, such as maths clubs, competitions, and enrichment programs, to promote a love for the subject and encourage students to explore mathematical concepts beyond the classroom.Requirements:
  • A degree in Mathematics or a related discipline, with a strong academic background and a passion for the subject.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students of varying abilities and backgrounds.
  • Enthusiasm for education and a willingness to learn and develop as a professional educator, with a commitment to supporting the academic and personal growth of students.
