The role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, converting leads into long-term clients and maximising the value of existing accounts.Key Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and approach new business opportunities via outbound calls, emails and networking
- Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through to close and ongoing account management
- Build and maintain commercially focused relationships with new and existing customers
- Understand client needs and deliver tailored, value-driven solutions
- Maximise revenue through upselling and cross-selling
- Work closely with internal teams to feed back customer insights and ensure service alignment
- Keep accurate records of sales activity and client engagement in the CRM
- Proven B2B sales experience with a consistent record of hitting or exceeding targets
- Excellent communication, negotiation and client relationship skills
- A commercially focused, self-starting mindset
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
- CRM experience is essential
- Solar or renewable energy knowledge is a bonus, not a requirement
- Base salary of £30,000 – £40,000 DOE, with bonus potential up to £7,000
