We’re seeking ambitious penultimate year university undergraduates from all backgrounds to join our team as a Summer Intern.Who we welcomeWe recognise that talent comes from different paths, so we encourage applications from all degree disciplines. We do not expect applicants to have any prior relevant work experience or be studying towards a specific degree.About the internshipsOur summer internships run for a period of six to eight weeks each summer, providing a valuable insight into the workings of Saffery.You’ll be partnered with a dedicated mentor who will ensure your internship is both enjoyable and challenging.Key dates to apply:

  • Shadowing and supporting the Transfer Pricing and International Tax team on live client work
  • Sitting in on client and internal meetings to understand how advice is developed and delivered
  • Assisting with the preparation of key documents such as transfer pricing reports and supporting files
  • Learning how to conduct research on tax legislation, case law, and HMRC guidance
  • Gaining exposure to financial data analysis and how it supports tax advisory work
  • Supporting the team with administrative and compliance-related tasks
  • Observing how UK businesses expand overseas and how international tax advice is tailored to their needs
This internship is designed to give you a meaningful introduction to the industry, helping you build confidence, develop new skills, and explore whether a career in tax advisory is right for you. This is an exciting time for this specialist team who are expanding around the UK.What you'll need
  • 2:1 undergraduate degree (expected) in any discipline,
  • A minimum of 120 UCAS points from your top 3 A Levels (or equivalent), excluding General Studies and AS Levels.
  • A minimum of 6 (or B) in GCSE Maths and English Language (or equivalent).
