EYFS Assistant – Primary School in Enfield
Inspire early learning and shape confident, curious minds.Protocol Education is working with a friendly, well-regarded primary school in Enfield to appoint a committed and nurturing EYFS Assistant. This is a full-time role, starting September 2025, supporting children in their early developmental stages within a welcoming and well-resourced Early Years setting.Location: Enfield
Start Date: September 2025
Hours: Full-time, term time
Pay: £85–£95 per day (dependent on experience)The Role:As an EYFS Assistant, you’ll work alongside a skilled class teacher and wider support team to create an engaging, safe, and stimulating environment for young learners. You’ll help deliver the EYFS curriculum through structured play, routine-building, and individualised support—helping every child feel secure, valued, and ready to learn.Key Responsibilities:
  • Support pupils across Nursery and/or Reception classes
  • Contribute to daily routines, small group activities, and observations
  • Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Assist in the delivery of high-quality learning through play and exploration
  • Encourage social, emotional, and language development through interaction
About You:
  • Previous experience in an Early Years or primary setting is essential
  • A relevant Level 2 or 3 childcare/teaching assistant qualification is preferred
  • Understanding of child development and safeguarding responsibilities
  • A calm, patient, and proactive approach to supporting young children
  • Thrive training is a plus—but not essential. (We offer free Thrive Approach training for all Protocol Education educators.)
