About the roleAre you a recent graduate looking for a rewarding and exciting graduate internship in student recruitment? Delivering world class UK recruitment events for a global top 10 university.Be part of supportive team responsible for attracting the brightest science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) students from the UK and internationally, to a London-based university that's currently ranked second globally by QS.You will have the opportunity to support, learn and contribute to a range of activities across Imperial's dynamic student recruitment team enabling Imperial to meet our student recruitment goals through administration, support and co-ordination of a range of events including UK recruitment fairs, Open Days, webinars and school visits.What you would be doingAs part of our team, you will support the recruitment of students from the UK and UK-based international schools.Your role will involve supporting a range of student recruitment activities aimed at building relationships with schools, teachers and prospective students, including school visits, HE fairs and campus visits. This will include events and activities at Imperial's London Campuses as well as extensive travel around the UK, including overnight stays and occasional weekend work.You will contribute to the planning and running of internal and external events for students and teachers, e.g. UK school visits and HE fairs, offer holder events and Imperial on Tour, as well as on other on campus events and visits to the campus.You will be responding to enquiries from schools, students, parents and HE event organisers in the general email inboxes.You will also work closely with the Student Recruitment Events team, supporting preparation and administration for in-person activities.What we are looking forWe are looking for a candidate who has:

  • Experience of working as a flexible team member who can also work independently
  • Experience of dealing successfully and positively with a wide range of contacts
  • Experience of working to tight schedules in a team environment
  • Experience of working with people from a variety of backgrounds
  • Previous experience of working in a professional office environment
  • Knowledge of the structure and organisation of the UK Higher education sector
  • Recent graduate standard or recent equivalent experience
  • Willingness for extensive UK travel
