Year 6 Teaching Assistant – Two-Form Entry Primary School, Enfield
Support pupils as they prepare for SATs, secondary school—and the big leap ahead.Protocol Education is working with a thriving two-form entry primary school in Enfield to appoint a focused and reliable Year 6 Teaching Assistant. This full-time, term-time position begins in September 2025, offering the opportunity to support learners during their final and most formative year of primary education.Location: Enfield

Hours: Full-time, term time
Pay: £85–£100 per day (based on experience)The Role:As a Year 6 TA, you’ll be a steady presence during what can be a high-pressure year. From SATs preparation to growing independence and secondary school transition, this role is about much more than academic support—it’s about encouraging resilience, confidence, and emotional readiness too.You’ll work alongside an experienced teacher and benefit from collaborative year group planning within a two-form entry structure—ensuring consistency, shared resources, and peer support.What You’ll Do:
  • Provide tailored support in English and maths—especially in the lead-up to SATs
  • Lead and assist with booster groups and targeted interventions
  • Support pupil wellbeing and help manage the social-emotional demands of Year 6
  • Promote high expectations for behaviour, effort, and achievement
  • Work closely with teaching staff to track progress and adapt support
What We’re Looking For:
  • Experience supporting Key Stage 2 pupils, ideally in Year 6
  • A relevant TA qualification (Level 2/3 or equivalent experience)
  • Strong literacy and numeracy skills and confidence supporting SATs prep
  • A calm, structured approach with excellent communication skills
