We're looking for a Transport Coordinator to join us on a full-time, permanent basis at our customers Nuneaton site, Working 9am to 6pm, Monday to FridayPay, benefits and more:We're looking to offer a salary of up to £28,325. We offer 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. You'll have access to a variety of high street discounts, cycle to work scheme, a workplace pension and many other perks.What you'll do on a typical day:
  • To cost effectively dispatch routes to achieve contractual delivery times, conducting remedial planning to effectively manage live changes to the plan.
  • To ensure all administrative traffic duties are carried out as necessary and to a high level of accuracy and professionalism
  • To liaise with line management to ensure the effective use of hire vehicles / sub contractors minimising the cost impact to the business
  • To ensure that details of vehicle accidents are escalated to line management
  • To ensure that defected vehicles are recorded on traffic sheets
What you need to succeed at XPO:
  • Working knowledge of driver hours regulations
  • Good geographical knowledge of the UK
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety requirements
  • Operational understanding of team roles
