Carers - Community Crisis TeamAre you looking for a new challenge and a return to care work?Do you have experience of providing care to people and are looking for a way back into social and community care?We are looking for experienced qualified/trained carers with at least a year's adult care experience to be part of one of one of our community crisis teams in Blackburn with Darwen.This is regular, consistent and permanent work with a guaranteed hours contract for fixed shifts of 7am to 2pm and 4pm to 10 pm. 2pm to 4pm is 'down time'.You must be over the age of 25 because of the insurance on our vehicles, which you may need to drive.This is an excellent and rare opportunity to join a response team in which you will use all the skills, training and experience you have gathered working in care. Its also an excellent opportunity to develop those skills with additional training led by our nurse.Many of our carers have been with us for over 10 years and some over 20 years, one won Carer of the Year at the Great British Care Awards, so we must be doing something right, and our carers have regular work and hours that fits perfectly within their work life balance in the area.We are a Preferred Provider for Blackburn with Darwen Council, Lancashire County Council, the NHS and Clinical Commissioning Group as well as private clients.
