An amazing opportunity has arisen for a Part Time Band 3 Senior Therapy Assistant (30 hours) to join the Acute Medicine Therapy Team at Peterborough Hospital. If you are enthusiastic and motivated with a passion for caring, this role could be for you.Candidates need a strong work ethic, a kind and caring nature and a willingness to learn and develop. You will need to be flexible and adaptable, working as a part of a supportive multidisciplinary team to assist in providing Occupational and Physiotherapy to people with a range of Medical conditions.The role involves;Supporting patients mobility and transfersAssisting the therapists and wider MDT with discharge planningCompleting functional tasks delegated by the therapists to support the patient in returning to their previous level of function.Assisting on visits to patients homes to assess their discharge needs.Interviews for this role will be conducted in person to assess relevant skills effectively.This role requires the ability to travel between sites. A validdrivinglicence and access to a vehicle may be necessary for this role.
