  • Working in a busy warehouse you will be responsible for goods handling and inventory control activities.
  • Taking delivery of goods/supplies, maintaining delivery and collection records, packing and loading goods for dispatch and general housekeeping for the warehouse area.
  • Inspection and Quality control
  • Any other reasonable and relevant duties as and when required
Health & Safety
  • Ensure a high standard of housekeeping is maintained in your working area (5s)
  • Actively participate in Focus Groups
  • Ensure all guarding and safety equipment is in place and used when needed • Personal protective equipment to be worn when required including safety glasses, steel toe cap boots etc.
  • Report all health and safety or maintenance issues
  • Ensure health and safety requirements are met and understand all relevant safety regulations
Experience and skills:
  • Must have experience with Reach Truck and if possible Overhead Crane
  • This role requires a high level of accuracy
  • Warehouse experience and be computer literate.
  • A valid UK driving licence as well as a current counterbalance and reach truck forklift licence are essential.
  • The ability to work well under pressure

  • Ability to demonstrate initiative and positive attitude.
  • Excellent organizational, time management and attention to detail skills
