GSL Education are looking for a confident and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to support a welcoming primary school in Chelmsford from September.This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves working with children, enjoys taking initiative, and is confident leading groups or whole classes in the teacher’s absence.The RoleSupport the class teacher across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.Deliver planned lessons to whole classes, small groups, and 1:1 when required.Help create a positive, inclusive learning environment where all pupils can thrive.Provide tailored support for children with additional needs.Contribute to planning, preparation, and assessment alongside teachers.What We’re Looking ForHLTA qualification or proven classroom experience at HLTA level.A good understanding of the primary curriculum.Strong behaviour management and excellent communication skills.A flexible, proactive, and enthusiastic approach to supporting children.Why Join GSL Education?At GSL, we understand that finding the right role makes all the difference.
