
Multiskilled Maintenance Technician (Electrical / Instrumentation Bias)

- Perform proactive and reactive maintenance across production and service equipment.
- Diagnose and repair faults in electrical and instrumentation systems.
- Calibrate and maintain site instrumentation to meet regulatory and safety standards.
- Support ATEX inspections and installations, ensuring compliance with DSEAR regulations.
- Ensure all maintenance and calibration records are accurate and audit-ready.
- Collaborate with engineering colleagues to drive efficiency and reliability.
- Participate in EHS audits and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical, Instrumentation, or a related Engineering discipline.
- Proven experience in a manufacturing maintenance environment (chemical, pharma, or similar).
- Strong fault-finding skills across electrical and instrumentation systems.
- Familiarity with PLC/SCADA systems, LV switchgear, VSDs, and safety systems.
- Understanding of regulatory and statutory engineering requirements.
- A proactive, safety-first mindset with excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- CompEx or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification.
- Experience with SAP PM or similar maintenance management systems.
- Interest in developing further skills in instrumentation or electrical systems.
