Our client is currently recruiting for a Canteen Assistant. The role will be based in Aberdeen and is due to commence on the 15th Sep for a 2 week period.RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assisting in preparation of all food stuffs as directed by Chef
  • During Breakfast & Lunch Service take orders & payment.
  • Ensure all tables are cleared & cleaned once vacated.
  • Load & unload dishwasher
  • Vacuum & Mop canteen floor after service, daily.
  • Cleaning & stocking snack area & juice machine
  • Keeping chilled cabinets and food areas topped up and clean.
  • Emptying bins at the end of the day.
  • Ensuring the floor is clean at all times.
  • Checking snack area before end of shift and ensuring juice machine etc. is topped up.
  • Clean juice dispenser & milk fridge weekly.
  • Cover for Canteen/Cleaning Assistant when absent due to illness/annual leave.
  • Advise Office Facilities Manager of any faults or defects within the canteen area.
  • Any other duties as required by the Office Facilities Manager
REQUIREMENTS
  • Food Hygiene Environment Certificate
  • Demonstrates a personal commitment to a positive working environment.
  • Organisational Qualities.
  • Communication and Presentation Skills
  • Personnel Management Skills.
