Working Hours: Days, 7am/3pm or 8am/4pmOne of Carbon60's leading Technology Manufacturing clients is seeking a skilled and proactive Lead Returns and Repair Technician to join its operations team.This role is ideal for someone with a strong technical background in electronics and a passion for continuous improvement and leadership.Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support a small team within the Returns department
- Repair and test equipment following defined procedures
- Assist in developing test processes for new components
- Ensure timely processing of priority returns
- Investigate delays and implement solutions to improve turnaround times
- Conduct regular one-to-one meetings with team members
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve production-related return issues
- Record, process, and diagnose faults in returned equipment
- Participate in structured problem-solving workshops
- Support training and development initiatives
- Perform system transactions and maintain accurate records
- Adapt to changing priorities and contribute to a flexible working environment
- Technical experience in the electronics industry.
- Methodical and organised approach to work.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and manufacturing systems (e.g., Sage or SAP).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and lead by example.
