We're looking for a Software Deployment Consultant to join our high-energy Deployment & Testing team, part of the wider Technology function supporting both UK&I and global operations.In this exciting role, you'll oversee software asset management and configuration processes, lead a talented team, and collaborate across markets to ensure secure, compliant, and efficient software deployment.What You'll Be Doing
- Strategic Leadership: Drive the vision and strategy for software deployment, aligning with business goals and industry best practices.
- Team Management: Lead and support the Software Technical Analyst and Software Management Officer, fostering growth and excellence.
- Software Asset Management: Oversee lifecycle planning, patch management, and data validation of software assets.
- Configuration Management: Maintain accurate records in the Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
- Compliance & Security: Partner with Cybersecurity to uphold standards and ensure a secure tech environment.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with franchisees, suppliers, and global tech teams to streamline operations.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process enhancements to boost team efficiency and effectiveness.
- Proven leadership in deploying product releases across diverse estates
- Expertise in Jira, Confluence, and defect tracking methodologies
- Strong communication and influencing skills at senior levels
- Advanced knowledge of software development and management lifecycles
- Proficiency in resource planning and team development
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong stakeholder relationship-building abilities
- High proficiency in MS Office, Jira, Confluence, and CMDB tools
- Certified Snow License Manager User
- ITIL Foundation (v3 or v4)
- Experience in the food and beverage industry or similar fast-paced environments
