Export AdministratorBirkenhead, Wirral, Merseyside | £28,000 per annum | Immediate Start AvailableThe RoleWe're looking for a detail-driven Customer Service & Export Administrator to join our busy Customer Services team. In this role, you'll be at the heart of our operations-coordinating domestic and international shipments, preparing export documentation, and ensuring our customers receive outstanding service.This is a great opportunity for someone with export or logistics experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working with colleagues and customers across the globe.What You'll Be DoingPreparing quotations, order acknowledgements, and works orders using our ERP system (EFACS).Coordinating with Production and Planning teams to confirm goods availability and readiness for dispatch.Creating commercial invoices, packing lists, customs documents, and movement certificates for both UK and international shipments.Managing all export documentation, including Dangerous Goods Notes (DGN) for road and sea freight.Sourcing and reviewing freight quotes to secure cost-effective and timely transport.Liaising with couriers and freight forwarders to arrange smooth, on-time deliveries.Ensuring full compliance with customs procedures, Incoterms, and UK/global trade regulations.Tracking shipments and keeping stakeholders updated on progress.Handling and resolving logistical issues or delays quickly and effectively.Communicating directly with customers to confirm orders, shipping details, and resolve queries.Maintaining accurate records for audits and compliance.Supporting process improvements and contributing to departmental KPIs.Assisting the management team with administrative tasks when required.What We're Looking ForGCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English - minimum standard pass grades.Previous experience in export administration, logistics, or international trade.Solid knowledge of customs procedures, shipping documentation, and Incoterms.Strong customer service skills and confident communication with stakeholders at all levels.Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines.A proactive, motivated approach with strong problem-solving abilities.Team player who can also work independently.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and ERP/logistics systems.Cultural awareness and the ability to build positive relationships across multiple countries.What's On OfferSalary: £28,000 per annumBenefits: Excellent company benefits packageLocation: Birkenhead, Wirral, MerseysideStart Date: ImmediateThis is a fantastic chance to join a supportive team in a standalone role where you'll really make an impact
