
Process Development Engineer

- Auditing and evaluation of production processes, including root cause analysis and effective problem solving where necessary
- Conducting process walks to identify improvement opportunities, relating to cycle time,
- Improving staff-machine ratio, effectively apply technology to gain efficiencies and reduce waste (e.g. Automation, AVC, COBOTS, digitalisation tools).
- Maximising process stability and robustness to failures.
- Effective incorporation of standardisation and obsolescence reduction.
- Identifying opportunities for quality and scrap improvements/issues, downtime and changeovers, and increasing profitability of specific items and analyse performance deviations e.g., low OEE, low PPH
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering/related field or equivalent experience
- Relevant experience on automation equipment.
- Ability to analyse data and determine action for improvement
- Quality Management: working within structured QA systems.
- Practical knowledge and application of equipment benchmarking and testing; proficient and practical experience of managing multiple projects including budgetary management; knowledge of IP, knowledge of VA/VE, Lean and Kaizen tools; application of FMEA
- IT: Strong knowledge of IT systems in general.

- Experience of moulding process would be advantageous (rubber or plastics)
- Experience of programming would be beneficial
