This role involves working on site and also on a remote basisOur lovely client is looking for a part time Physiotherapist to join their team
Hours of work: Variable shifts to include some evenings and weekends. This position is structured as 16-30 hours per week
Purpose of this role:
People:1. Leadership - set the medical standards within the Company Centres. From training and massage delivery through to correct monitoring.
2. Therapist Training:
a) Check an agreed level of massage therapy sessions per centre every week to focus on the correct method (ensure additional training given if needed following the session)
b) Ensuring all therapists have the support and training they require to meet the pathway of care for massage therapy that fits medical criteria.
c) Ensuring that the criteria for medical and non-medical therapy are accurate and being followed. This will involve:
a. A detailed audit log of consultation form checking, with a balanced cross-section across all centres. The expectation is circa 5 hours per week.
b. Updating the Intranet and education platforms with content to ensure the Massage Therapists can access quality information quickly
c. Maintaining close contact with the Consultation form and process to ensure that colleagues are providing the correct medical care
d) New Therapists:
a) Validate that the qualifications provided meet the requirements for medical based massage therapy
3. Provide medical service appointments (physiotherapy, psychology, stress-counselling, as examples), booked in advance, for our growing team in the centres and Franchise Support Office.

While bookings will be driven by need, the responsibility for developing, encouraging, and really make this employee benefit work will be part of this role.
Training:
1. Attend a minimum of 2 hours with a variety of our company's Training Programme sessions every month, including one of:
a. Lead Therapist training day
b. Maternity training
c. Classic Massage Therapy programme
d. Training Academy
e. Feedback & Development sessions
2. Join the company's National Training Team to form tight understanding of the background into the Diploma in Applied Anatomy for Massage Therapy and ensuring it meets certain medical criteria
Operations:
1. Our company's Brand standards - ensuring all brand standards are being adhered to within the centre.
2. Provide full and written audit trail of work delivered into medical supervision - this may include use of online timesheets, images and proof, social media contentAs the company's Physio you all also be expected to undertake some Self-Study and be present at all National training and events.
