For part-time roles, the salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours. Responsibilities:.About the role:
  • Supporting service users from point of entry into the service and through their treatment/recovery journey using a whole family approach
  • Reducing drug and alcohol related harm to service users and the wider community
  • Promoting carer, service user and community involvement and sign posting for wider family interventions
  • Providing advocacy for access to partnership services
  • Working with service users to support social (re)integration, enabling them to lead meaningful and purposeful lives: promoting recovery, resilience, family relationships, peer support and self-determination
  • Work in partnership with Probation
  • Deliver DRR/ATR intervention in line with National Probation Service (NPS) court
order requirements * Provide a seamless link between police/court custody suites, prison, and the community
  • Provide information for courts and other criminal justice agencies of suitability for drug
treatment interventions * Provide recovery planning and review, as well as structured group work within theFoundations of Recovery/Rehabilitation framework if neededAbout you:
  • Excellent understanding of drug and alcohol issues and experience of working within criminal justice or related field
  • Knowledge of the Criminal Justice system
  • Experience of working within Criminal Justice Partnerships
  • Knowledge of effective interventions that lead to reduction in drug related crime
  • Experience of supporting and advising participants with complex and/or multiple barriers to success
  • Be an excellent communicator, both verbal and written with good IT skills
  • Proactive and able to work on own initiative with excellent time management and prioritising skills
  • Have a good working knowledge of mental health interventions, services, and good practice
  • Be a supportive team player with strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work in partnership with a wide range of professionals, agencies, and internal/external stakeholders
  • Ability to manage change successfully in a way that prioritises the needs of service users
  • Understand the importance of information governance processes and commit to follow and apply all necessary safeguards
