- Confirming adherence to the relevant quality procedures and requirements.
- Working to route cards, work instructions and drawings.
- Verification of Quality Assured Product including:
- Works Order completion and stamping.
- Visual inspection and verification of conformance to product standards.
- Material traceability and serialisation (As required).
- Issue and Build Standard (Version) control.
- Quality compliance (including FAI coverage, concessions, permits and release gateways).
- Completion of Quality requirements and QN closure.
- Gateway inspection for Quality checklists and any additional alerts.
- Basic measurement techniques and Hand Gauging.
- Part cleaning and protection.
- Declaring any non-conformance's and working with quality to disposition parts.
- Finalising paperwork and system transaction on completed work prior to dispatch.
- Control, operate and maintain stock control systems as appropriate.
- Other duties as required to support the operational team.
- General team working duties - including continuous improvement and 5S activities.
- Carrying out all activities in accordance with the EH&S procedures.
- Sheet Metal Fabrication, Machining and Quality Inspection experience
- Conscientious with attention to detail.
- Willing to work under own initiative in a medium volume production environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- PC literacy – with capability to perform basic transactional duties.
- Highly-motivated, flexible, responsive to change, and calm under pressure
- Ability to support technical discussions related to welding
- Quality assurance focused
- Candidate must be computer literate
- Works well in a team environment and has the ability to work across various departmental functions within the Company
- Level 3 NVQ or City and Guilds in a relevant discipline
- Previous Assembly and Inspection experience (Desirable).
- Apprentice served (Desirable)
