Job Title: SEMH Teacher

This is a rewarding opportunity to create an inclusive, safe, and supportive environment where students can build confidence, develop essential skills, and succeed in their learning journey.As an SEMH Teacher, you will:
  • Plan, deliver, and adapt lessons to meet the needs of pupils with SEMH challenges.
  • Develop and implement individual education and behaviour support plans.
  • Build strong, trusting relationships to encourage engagement and positive behaviour.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, SENCOs, and pastoral teams to provide holistic support.
  • Monitor and track progress, providing regular feedback to pupils and parents/carers.
  • Ensure a consistent focus on safeguarding, wellbeing, and inclusion.
Requirements for SEMH Teacher:
  • UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience working with pupils with SEMH or behavioural needs.
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and adaptability to meet the unique needs of each pupil.
  • An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
  • A full CV covering the last 10 years of employment history, with any gaps explained.
