- Secure sales of fuel by effectively matching customers' current and potential future needs in line with targets/KPI and the company sales approach.
- Acquire new customers via referrals from the existing customer base.
- Create and maintain an up-to-date knowledge of competitor activity and developments, and record.
- Log and provide an effective response and resolution to customer enquiries and requests for information. Ensure accounts are fully maintained and updated in all areas as and when required.
- Retention of existing customer portfolio.
- Developing & managing long standing relationships with customer portfolio to prevent churn.
- Work to a structured and agreed contact strategy
- Complete daily/weekly/monthly calls in line with above
- Ensure that all calls are effectively “closed” with an action to develop pipeline.
- Develop the existing customer base with the specific aim of cross-selling other relevant products and services, effectively matching customers' current and potential future needs with targets and the Company sales approach.
- Record accurately all customer interactions
- of all the company's products and services.
- Ensure effective use of IT systems
- Strong ability to engage and influence.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
