Recruit4staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading Packaging Company, in their search for a Machine Operative to work at their modern facility in Tewkesbury.For the successful Machine Operative, our client is offering:
  • £25,300.08 per annum
  • Day's role, 6 am - 1:30 pm, Monday to Friday
  • Permanent role
  • Uniform and PPE provided

The role – Machine Operative:
  • Operate booklet folding, multisert, reel plough, and shrink-wrapping machinery
  • Accurately fold and pack pharmaceutical leaflets to meet quality and production targets
  • Produce labels for packing trays and boxes
  • Operate counting machines and perform manual packing duties in the flat pack area
  • Maintain a high level of housekeeping and adhere to pharmaceutical hygiene standards
  • Support general maintenance of machinery and alert supervisors to any required servicing
  • Follow all procedures in line with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards
What our client is looking for in a Machine Operative:
  • Previous experience operating machinery in a fast-paced manufacturing environment – ESSENTIAL
  • Experience in printing, pharmaceutical, or food production – DESIRABLE
  • Good attention to detail and ability to interpret job specifications
  • Self-motivated team player with strong work ethic and initiative
  • Able to maintain hygiene, quality, and health & safety standards
