Sales Ledger Clerk / Preston / Salary £25,000 - £27,000 / Permanent RoleSales Ledger Clerk Clerk Role OverviewAs the Sales Ledger Clerk Clerk, you will be working as part of a small team and be responsible for managing the accounts receivable and credit control process. You will work closely with and report into the Financial Controller.Sales Ledger Clerk Clerk Responsibilities:
  • Raising invoices
  • Raising credit notes
  • Cash allocation
  • Proactively chasing overdue debts
  • Sending customer statements
  • Any ad hoc duties – problem solving
  • Telephone enquiries internal and external
Sales Ledger Clerk Clerk Experience Required
  • Experienced in a similar accounts or admin role with a good work ethic, effective communication and time management skills.
  • Sage 50 experience would be ideal
  • Excel – vlookups and pivot tables
  • Flexibility towards tasks with the ability to work effectively using own initiative
  • Strong organisation and prioritisation skills
  • Enthusiasm and a proactive approach to work
