  • Champion the commercial success of high-value, complex contracts.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure full compliance with commercial processes and governance.
  • Lead and develop a team of Quantity Surveyors, fostering growth and excellence.
  • Oversee subcontractor management and ensure alignment with project strategy.
  • Collaborate with operations to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Play a key role in safety leadership and final account preparation.
  • Drive quality and continuous improvement across commercial practices.
  • Embody and promote Balfour Beatty's core values.
Who we're looking for
  • A seasoned Quantity Surveyor with a strong track record in civil engineering or construction. Experience with NEC Contracts is essential.
  • Chartered (or working towards chartership) with RICS, ICES, or CIOB.
  • Proven experience in leading and mentoring commercial teams.
  • Skilled in managing contractual change, commercial reporting, and Earned Value Management.
  • A confident communicator and strategic thinker with a passion for delivering excellence.
