Flexible Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) – Warrington
Location: Warrington
Start Date: September 2025

Whether you're juggling other commitments or simply want more variety in your week, this flexible role gives you the freedom to choose when and where you work — while continuing to make a real impact in education.Teaching Personnel are working closely with a range of welcoming and well-resourced primary schools across Warrington, offering day-to-day and short-term placements to qualified and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistants.What This Role Involves:
  • Leading full-class sessions and providing PPA cover in the absence of teaching staff.
  • Supporting catch-up interventions in literacy, numeracy, or SEND support groups.
  • Contributing to classroom management and assisting with planning where needed.
  • Adapting quickly to new environments and supporting diverse groups of learners.
What We’re Looking For:
  • HLTA status or extensive TA experience including leading whole-class lessons.
  • Ability to hit the ground running in different schools and key stages (EYFS – KS2).
  • Strong classroom presence with the confidence to deliver pre-prepared lessons.
  • A positive, adaptable, and reliable approach to education support.
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one.
