As a Senior CAD Technician, you will play a vital role in transforming client requirements into accurate and detailed technical drawings that support high-profile catering projects. Reporting directly to the Commercial Director, you will work closely with:
- Dealers and specifying consultants
- External sales team and in-house project managers
- Our German-based corporate headquarters
- UK-based fabrication and factory teams
- Producing sales proposal drawings to support equipment quotations
- Creating detailed layout, fabrication, and production drawings
- Preparing builder's work and M&E service installation plans
- Managing and tracking customer drawing approvals
- Maintaining and updating drawing logs and project records
- Ensuring all CAD documentation is accurate, complete, and delivered on time
We are looking for an experienced CAD professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working across multiple projects simultaneously.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (essential)
- Experience with Revit and working to BIM Level 2 standards
- Knowledge of mechanical and electrical (M&E) services (advantageous)
- A relevant design-based or engineering/building services qualification, or equivalent CAD experience
- Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail
- Clear communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across internal and external teams
- A proven ability to meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy and quality
