Power Bi / SQL opportunityThe client are currently undertaking a significant transformation project, migrating from a legacy on-prem .NET CRM solution to a new cloud-based platform, Financial Cloud.As part of this transition, we are seeking an experienced Power BI / SQL contractors to support the redevelopment of their reporting infrastructure.Project Overview
  • Reporting Migration: Converting a large suite of SQL extract-to-Excel reports into Power BI dashboards/Reports.
  • Platform: New solution hosted on AWS Snowflake, with fully cleansed and structured data.
  • Approach: Initial focus on replicating existing report outputs in Power BI, with scope for service improvement and optimisation.
  • Complex Reports: May require custom SQL development.
  • Documentation & Handover: All work must be clearly documented and handed over to our internal NCO team.
  • Simplicity: Ongoing management of the reporting solution must be streamlined and maintainable.
Requirements
  • UK-based and available to start immediately.
  • Willingness to travel to site if needed for clarification with key operations staff.
  • Proven experience with Power BI, SQL, and Snowflake.
  • Ability to suggest and implement improved reporting approaches.
  • One-stage interview process to verify skills and experience.
