Senior Support worker

• Assist residents with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Support residents in daily living activities such as meal preparation, medication management, and mobility assistance.
• Develop and implement individualised care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals.
• Supervise junior staff members and provide guidance to ensure high standards of care are maintained.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members to address any concerns or needs.
• Maintain accurate records of resident care and report any changes in health or behaviour to the appropriate personnel.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all residents.

• Previous experience in senior care or a similar role is preferred.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate a team.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Knowledge of IT systems related to care documentation is advantageous.
• A compassionate approach towards elderly individuals and an understanding of their needs.
• Ability to drive may be beneficial for transporting residents as required.
• Relevant qualifications in health and social care would be an asset.
• Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care
