Governance Administrator, 35 hours per week, Permanent, £26,566 per annumIt is an exciting time to join the Law Society of Scotland. We have an opportunity within the Governance Team for a Governance Administrator. This role is predominantly office based and is to provide administrative support to the Professional Conduct Team.At the centre of our organisation are the values of Respect, Openness, Progress, Inclusion, and Integrity which drive our teams to deliver the best possible service for the legal sector and beyond.Key Responsibilities for this role
  • Scan incoming mail and paper files. Upload to the complaints management system
  • Track and record incoming paper files
  • Download and save electronic files
  • Monitor Professional Conduct Team mailbox – save and direct emails to team and save to complaints management system
  • Prepare outgoing mail. Print and prepare recorded delivery and special delivery letters. Record accurately to complaints management system
  • Format, combine, encrypt and redact documents
  • Input confidential data to complaints management system, format and send emails
  • Answer telephone calls from members of the public and solicitors
