Shift Production Manager

- Lead and motivate teams to create a high-performance culture, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency are always prioritised.
- Oversee all aspects of shift operations, from production planning to ensuring compliance with internal and external quality standards.
- Monitor and achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) while identifying opportunities for improvement in processes and procedures.
- Manage manpower resources effectively, ensuring team members are trained, supported, and motivated to succeed.
- Report and act on machinery breakdowns, working closely with engineering teams to minimise downtime.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including lean manufacturing techniques, to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
- Proven experience in manufacturing management, ideally within the food and drink sector or a similar high-volume FMCG environment.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams while managing performance and development.
- A solid understanding of improvement techniques such as continuous improvement, Kaizen, or lean manufacturing.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive, practical approach to challenges.
- Relevant qualifications, such as a management degree, NVQ, ILM certification, or equivalent experience.
