- Provide 1:1 support to a child with high needs, including sensory needs, non-verbal communication, and personal care.
- Assist in achieving learning and development targets for the child.
- Collaborate effectively with teaching staff and other professionals to create an inclusive, supportive environment.
- Foster an environment that promotes the child's independence and engagement in learning.
- Implement personalised strategies for communication, behaviour management, and sensory support.
- Passionate about working inclusively with children with additional needs.
- Graduates or current university students with a desire to explore a career in education
- Core subject degrees such as Maths, English, Science, History, Geography, or PE (for aspiring teachers)
- Experience supporting children with SEN, including ASD, ADHD, and non-verbal communication (preferable but not essential)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Previous experience working in a similar setting is an advantage.
