An exciting opportunity for a Patient support Team Practice Nurse Team Administrator has become available. We are looking for a friendly, flexible and proactive person to come and join our team. You will be working as part of a team of three in one of the sub-departments of the Patient Support Team (Administration). The successful candidate will be required to work Monday 8am to 4.30pm / Wednesday 8am to 4.30pm and Thursday 8am to 4.30pm.Main duties of the jobAll aspects of inviting patients in for Chronic Disease Management, Immunisations, NHS Health Checks. Dealing with incoming mail and emails.   • Carries out any other reasonable duties within the overall function, commensurate with the grading and level of responsibility of the post.
  • Be prepared to help with cover in all departments of the Administration Team and Reception.

  • Contributes to ensuring patients are seen in a timely, caring and professional manner
  • Supports equality and diversity of patients and colleagues
  • Supports wider team with achieving their objectives where appropriate

  • Ensures self-compliance with data protection laws and confidentiality agreements and that of the teams the post holder is responsible for
  • Follows confidentiality policy, computer use policy, information governance policy, social media policy and any other policy relating to confidentiality within role.

  • Knowledge of GP schedules, training requirements and commitments
