
Senior Utility Surveyor

- Lead and manage underground utility surveys across various sites using GPR and other detection methods
- Carry out PAS 128-compliant surveys, from planning through to data collection and reporting
- Interpret GPR data and integrate findings into comprehensive utility survey drawings
- Produce and review detailed AutoCAD drawings and survey deliverables
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and project stakeholders to ensure clarity of requirements and deliverables
- Provide technical leadership and support to junior surveyors and CAD technicians
- Ensure adherence to health and safety protocols and industry best practices
- Assist in developing and improving internal processes and methodologies
- Proven experience in utility surveying, including substantial field experience with GPR and EML
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and processing utility data into accurate drawings
- Solid understanding of PAS 128 standards and utility mapping classifications
- Ability to interpret GPR results and integrate findings with other utility detection methods
- Excellent communication skills and client-facing experience
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Valid UK driving licence (essential)
- CSCS card (preferred)
- QCF Level 3 or 5 in Utility Mapping or Surveying (or equivalent)
- Experience with other survey software (e.g., Trimble, Leica, N4CE)
- SMSTS/SSSTS or other relevant H&S qualifications
