Vehicle Service Advisor required in Salisbury.
  • SALARY: Starting salary up to £28-30,000 per annum plus up to £4-6,000 uncapped additional bonus potential.
  • HOURS: Alternating early/late shift rota Monday to Friday. Week one: 8:00am-4:30pm. Week two: 9:30am-6:00pm. 1 in 3 Saturdays, 8:30am-1:00pm.

Our client, a large franchise-approved car dealer group situated throughout South West England, is currently looking to recruit a Vehicle Service Advisor to join their premium dealership in Salisbury.Reporting to the Service Manager and working alongside a service reception team, you will be responsible for providing a proactive service to customers requesting to schedule their vehicles in for service, maintenance or repair work and arranging, where necessary, a courtesy vehicle. As a Vehicle Service Advisor, you will greet customers into the Service Department, extensively liaise with the workshop to chase work in progress, carry out upselling of additional products and services where possible, and keep customers informed of the progress on their vehicle, amongst other ad-hoc responsibilities.The successful Service Advisor would ideally be able to deliver the very highest level of customer service through strong communication skills, resulting in total customer satisfaction. Very strong organisational skills, along with knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel and DMS systems (Pinewood Pinnacle preferable) would be of high priority. At least one to two years current or recent experience as a Vehicle Service Advisor within a franchise approved automotive dealership would be desirable for our client however they have said they're willing to consider Service Advisors outside the motor trade provided they have a full clean UK driving license with minimal points and a strong track record in a similar customer service orientated role.What's in it for you?
