- Degree in a Mechanical Engineering or Building Service Discipline plus 2 years' working on building services systems e.g. plumbing and ventilation, including demonstration of experience of managing a multi-disciplined maintenance team OR HND/HNC (or equivalent) in a Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Building Services discipline plus 3 year's working on building services systems e.g. plumbing and ventilation, including demonstration of experience of managing a multi-disciplined maintenance team
- Managing mechanical services within a complex facility including modern methods of maintenance scheduling and execution
- The control and deployment of maintenance staff including contracto0rs to carry out daily reactive and planned maintenance tasks.
- Delivered a significant improvement to an electrical/mechanical system with a complex facility within the last 5 years.
- Experience in the use of Microsoft Office products, including Outlook (Email), Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Hold a current full driving licence which is valid for use in the UK and have access to a car on appointment. This criteria will be waived in the case of applicants whose disability prohibits driving but who have access to a form of transport approved by the Trust which will permit them to carry out the duties of the post
