Salary: £31,306.80 per annumAbout the RoleWe are seeking a motivated and experienced Sous Chef to join our dynamic catering team at Aegon, one of Edinburgh’s leading workplace sites. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead within a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment, delivering exceptional food quality and service to a diverse business community.Working closely with the Executive Chef and Senior Kitchen Management Team, you will play a pivotal role in the daily operations of the kitchen – from food production and hospitality services to driving customer satisfaction and upholding quality standards.Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver a variety of meals and hospitality offers to the highest standards
- Ensure consistent, high-quality service aligned with client expectations
- Support the Executive Chef in all aspects of kitchen management and production
- Lead by example with a customer-first approach and attention to detail
- Help oversee the smooth, efficient operation of a 29-member catering team
- Proven experience in a large, multi-site catering environment
- Strong leadership qualities with a disciplined and process-driven mindset
