Start Date: 01/09/25Our South Birmingham based Catholic Primary School is seeking a Full time Primary class teacher for their lovely year 4 class. The suitable teacher will have QTS and key stage 2 experience. This is a maternity leave cover and will be full time on a Temporary / Supply basis. This warm and welcoming Primary school offer a supportive and nurturing environment to staff and pupils. Behaviour is good and pupils enjoy attending school.You will have prior key stage 2 teaching experience and be able to commit to a full time role from September 2025. Taking full responsibility for teaching the year 4 classRole and Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and challenging lessons tailored to the needs of Year 4 pupils
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports the academic and personal development of each child
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community to support student learning and well-being
- Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback and setting appropriate targets
- Uphold the Catholic ethos and values of the school in all aspects of teaching and community life
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Proven experience teaching in primary education, preferably within key stage 2
- Strong understanding of the primary curriculum and assessment strategies
- Commitment to promoting the Catholic ethos and values of the school
