As an SEN Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing assistance and support to students with special educational needs (SEN) in an educational setting. Your main duties will include:Job Duties:
  • Supporting students with SEN in their learning activities
  • Assisting with personal care and hygiene needs as required
  • Implementing individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies
  • Working closely with teachers and other professionals to support student development
  • Monitoring and recording student progress and behaviour
Required Qualifications:
  • Previous experience working with individuals with SEN
  • Good understanding of SEN support strategies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Education:Minimum of GCSEs in English and MathsExperience:Experience working in a similar role within the education sectorKnowledge and Skills:
  • Knowledge of SEN support practises and techniques
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Strong organisational skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • SEN qualification or relevant certification
  • First Aid training
Working Conditions:This position involves working within an educational environment, supporting students with SEN. The role may require some flexibility in working hours to meet the needs of the students.All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
