Permanent | Full-Time | Office-Based | HybridWe’re recruiting on behalf of a growing and well-established electrical contractor based in Swindon, looking to appoint a Senior Electrical Estimator to support continued growth. With a strong pipeline of repeat business and a varied project portfolio, this is a great opportunity for an experienced estimator to take ownership and lead the estimating function.Role OverviewManage tender enquiries from review through to submission and handoverAssess contractual, technical, health & safety, and logistical elements of each projectConduct site meetings and surveys where requiredLiaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricingComplete accurate take-offs and build comprehensive tender packagesPresent tenders for internal sign-off before submissionSupport post-tender negotiations and prepare detailed handover reportsAssist in mentoring junior estimators and administratorsMaintain and optimise the company’s estimating systems and processesKey RequirementsMinimum 5 years’ experience as an Electrical EstimatorPrevious hands-on experience as an electrician is essentialComfortable managing a wide range of projects from £10k up to £500kExperienced in both pre-designed and design & build tendersStrong understanding of JCT and NEC contractsHigh attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and commercially astuteProficient with IT and estimating softwareBased within 40 minutes of SwindonWhat’s On OfferSalary: £60,000 – £70,000 per annumCar Allowance30 days holiday including Bank HolidaysExcellent pension schemeLong-service benefitsWorking hours: 7:30am – 4:30pm or 8:00am – 5:00pm (Monday to Friday)Opportunities for professional development and progressionThis is an ideal role for an experienced estimator looking for a stable, long-term position in a well-run electrical business where your input will be valued and your expertise put to full use.Apply today or contact us for more details.
