About The RoleWe’re looking for a commercially savvy, people-first Business Development Manager to drive growth across the South West region. Reporting to the Business Unit Managing Director, you’ll identify and secure new cleaning contracts, strengthen client relationships, and contribute to the retention of key accounts. You’ll work closely with our operational teams to deliver tailored, high-impact service proposals that align with Atlas’s purpose: to create happiness in ourselves and others.You’ll be empowered to shape and implement a regional sales strategy that highlights the strengths of Atlas—our reliability, agility, and family-first culture. Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify and convert new business opportunities within the South WestPrepare and present bespoke client proposals with measurable valueBuild and nurture strong, long-term client relationshipsCollaborate with internal teams to ensure exceptional service deliveryStay ahead of market trends, competitor activity, and sector changesRepresent Atlas at external meetings, site visits, and networking eventsForecast pipeline activity and report progress to the Managing DirectorAbout YouYou’re a natural relationship-builder with a strategic mindset and a drive for results. You understand the dynamics of winning new contracts in a service-based environment, ideally with experience in cleaning, FM, or education.You’ll bring commercial acumen, outstanding communication skills, and the tenacity to open doors and win trust. You’re someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, always looking for opportunities to go the extra mile and create ‘Wow’ moments for clients.
