- To carry out highly specialist clinical ultrasound imaging duties in a paediatric tertiary referral centre.
- To interpret and provide specialist clinical diagnostic judgement on the ultrasound findings with a thorough understanding of the complex specialist clinical indications.
- To ensure the provision of a professional, high quality, effective, flexible and efficient Imaging Service that is responsive to the needs of the patient.

- DCR/BSc in Radiography

- Clinical Governance

- Experience of quality assurance, research and audit.
- Experience of Paediatric Imaging
- Substantial general abdominal ultrasound experience
- Working knowledge of PACS and RIS systems
- Vascular ultrasound experience
- Leadership skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Have an understanding of the needs of the child
- Ability to empathise with the children and their parents
- Excellent Interpersonal Skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
